A day in the shop

Morning: you open the app and Home shows yesterday's takings and what is running low. A customer asks for two kilo sugar and half a kilo daal; you tap them in, the weight sets the price, and the bill goes to the customer's khata because they pay on Friday. The supplier comes at noon; you add the stock with one tap per product. At night the daily closing report is your roznamcha: sales, cash in the drawer, udhaar given and received, and the profit after expenses.

Can Saleva sell sugar, rice and daal by weight?

Yes. Switch on the grocery tools in the app and mark a product as sold by weight. At the counter you enter the kilograms or the amount of money, and Saleva works out the price. Scale barcodes are supported.

Can I keep my udhaar khata in Saleva instead of a register?

Yes. Every customer has a balance, payments settle the oldest bills first, and you can see debts by age and send reminders on WhatsApp. You can also bring an old paper khata in by photographing the register page; it reads names written in English letters, and Urdu names are typed in on the review screen.

Does it work when the internet is off?

Yes. Selling, stock, khata and reports work fully offline on the phone. WhatsApp answers, sync and the online shop need internet and catch up when you reconnect.
