A day in the shop

A customer books a two-pound cake for Saturday and pays half; the order shows the pickup date and the balance due. You bake a batch of naan khatai from its recipe and the ingredients come off stock. A walk-in buys half a kilo of mithai, weighed and priced at the counter. On Saturday the cake is on the due-today list, and the balance is collected when it is picked up.

Yes. With the bakery tools on, you take an order with a pickup date and an advance payment. Saleva lists what is due today and collects the remaining balance on pickup.

Can I sell mithai by weight?

Yes. A product can be sold by weight: enter the kilograms or an amount of money at the counter and the price is worked out.

Does Saleva handle recipes?

Yes. Recipes and production record what goes into a batch, so the ingredients come off stock when you produce it. Setting up recipes is a Pro tool, or can be unlocked for a day with ad credits.
