A day in the shop

Lunch: table 4 orders two karahi and a raita with no onion; the order goes to the kitchen screen and moves to Ready when the cook taps it. A token order for takeaway is billed and paid by wallet. In the afternoon you record a batch of biryani from its recipe, and the rice and chicken come off stock. At night the closing report shows sales by staff, cash in the drawer and the day's profit.
