What this tool does
A clear rate list saves the same questions all day: how much is sugar today, what is the price of a bag of atta. This tool turns a simple list of items and prices into a picture with your shop's name, ready to post as a WhatsApp status, send to a customer group or pin in a chat. The same list prints as a plain page for the wall behind the counter. Everything is drawn in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Type your shop name and a heading such as "Today's rates" or "Eid offers".
- Write one item per line: name, price and, if you like, the unit, separated by commas. For example Sugar, 150, kg.
- Pick a colour and a size. The tall size fills a WhatsApp status; the shorter one suits a chat or a post.
- Download the picture, share it straight to WhatsApp where your phone allows, or print it.
Worked example
A kiryana shop posts its rates every morning. The owner keeps the list in a note on the phone, changes the two or three prices that moved, pastes it here and posts the picture as a status before opening. Customers who check statuses see the rates before they set off, and regulars ordering on WhatsApp already know the price. A list of about 10 to 20 items reads best; a status picture holds up to 30, a post up to 20.
Tips for a list people read
- Put the items people ask about most at the top.
- Use the unit people buy in: per kg, per litre, per dozen, per bag.
- Post a new picture when prices change, so an old status never misleads anyone.
Questions
Can I write item names in Urdu?
Yes. Type the names in Urdu and the picture lays the list out right to left, with the prices on the left.
Why is there no Share button on my computer?
Sharing a picture straight to an app needs a browser that supports it, which most Android phones do. Elsewhere, download the picture and attach it in WhatsApp.
Are my prices saved anywhere?
No. The picture is made on your device and nothing is sent to us. Keep your list in a note so you can paste it again tomorrow.
