A visiting card is still the easiest way for a customer to remember your shop: it goes in a wallet, sits by the phone, and is passed to a neighbour. This tool makes a simple, clean card with your shop name (in English and, if you like, in Urdu), what you sell, the owner's name, phone, WhatsApp and address. It can add a QR code that opens a WhatsApp chat with you. Download it as a picture to share in chats and as a profile photo, or print ten cards to an A4 page and cut them out.
How to use it
- Fill in the shop name and contact details. Leave out anything you do not want printed.
- Pick a colour. The card is drawn as you type.
- Scan the QR code with your own phone to check that it opens the right WhatsApp chat.
- Download the picture, or print the A4 sheet on thick paper (250 to 300 gsm) and cut along the dashed lines.
Worked example
A grocery shop owner types "Madina General Store", "مدینہ جنرل اسٹور", "Grocery, dairy and household goods", his name, his number 0300 1234567 and the bazaar address. The QR code opens wa.me/923001234567, his number in international form. He prints one A4 sheet at a print shop on card paper, cuts out ten cards, and puts one in every home delivery bag. Each card is the standard 89 × 51 mm (3.5 × 2 inches), so it fits any card holder.
Questions
What size is the card?
89 × 51 mm, the usual 3.5 × 2 inch visiting card. The picture is 1050 × 600 pixels, which is 300 dots per inch at that size, sharp enough for printing.
Can I add my logo?
Not with this tool. It keeps to a clean design with your name, contacts and an optional QR code. A print shop can add a logo to the downloaded picture if you need one.
Why does the QR code need my number with the country code?
WhatsApp links need the full international number. The tool turns a Pakistani number such as 0300 1234567 into 923001234567 for you. For other countries, type the number with its country code.
