What this tool does

More customers now pay by Raast, EasyPaisa, JazzCash or a bank transfer, and the slowest part is reading out an account number while they type it. This tool makes a "Pay here" card for the counter with your shop name, the wallets or bank you accept, the account title and your number or IBAN in large print, plus a QR code that holds the same details. A customer scans it with the phone camera, copies the number and pastes it into their own app.

Be clear about what the QR code is

The code holds plain text: your number, IBAN or link, exactly as you typed it. It is not an official merchant QR. Raast and the wallets have their own payment QR formats that only your bank or wallet can issue, and their "Scan to pay" buttons are built for those. If you have a merchant QR from your bank or wallet, use that one. This card is for shops that receive payments to a personal or business account and want customers to get the number right.

How to use it

  1. Tick the wallets or bank you accept, and choose what customers send money to.
  2. Type the number, IBAN or link, and the account title exactly as the bank shows it, so customers can check the name before they send.
  3. Scan the card with your own phone to check it, then download or print it.

Worked example

A shop takes Raast payments to the owner's mobile number. The owner chooses Raast ID or mobile account number, types 0300 1234567 and the account title. The card shows the number in large digits and the QR code holds 03001234567. A customer scans it, copies the number, and their app shows the account title before they confirm. Always check the payment message on your own phone before handing over the goods.

Questions

Will the Raast or EasyPaisa app pay by scanning this code?

Usually not. Those apps' Scan to pay buttons read their own merchant QR format. This code holds text, so customers scan it with the camera and copy the number into the app.

Does the tool check my IBAN?

Yes, it checks the IBAN's two check digits, which catches most typing mistakes. It cannot tell whether the account exists or whose it is.

Is my account number sent anywhere?

No. The card and the code are made in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
